Research in Oncology (RiO), is an open-access international peer-reviewed multidisciplinary oncology journal published by Kasr Al-Ainy Center of Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine, Kasr Al-Ainy School of Medicine, Cairo University. RiO continues Kasr El-Aini Journal of Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine which was founded in 2005 by Prof. Shawki El-Haddad and discontinued in 2015. RiO aims at publishing the best communication on the continuously evolving field of cancer research. The journal receives submissions under a broad range of topics including, but not limited to, preclinical cancer research, medical oncology, pediatric oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, cancer epidemiology, cancer prevention, and palliative and supportive care.
